28 November and we finally have all the plumbing in place.

23rd September and we move back in the back 2 rooms

18th September and the roof on the house is complete.

25th August the first plaster boards are in place.

21st August we are connected to the mains sewer

29th July The concrete slab is down to replace the timber floors.

12th June 2001 Both RSJ's are in place and we can tell the chippy he can come back and do some more to the roof.

7th June 2001 The 2 main RSJ's arrive.

21st May 2001 Chippy starts work on the roof timbers.

18th May 2001 Temporary Roof is erected over the house.

10th May 2001 The wall at the rear is at roof level.

4th May 2001 get a phone call from the roofer to confirm the chippy is ready to start when we want him.  This should coincide with the builder being up to roof height and going on holiday.

13th April 2001 Planning permission comes in the post this morning,  We now have full permission for all we submitted in the last set of drawings.  The trouble is we have changed to interior now, we may have to put in again for a third time.

5th April 2001 Concrete poured for footings at rear.

3 rd April 2001 Builders arrive and the first piece of earth is dug.

2nd April 2001 The digger is delivered and we feel that it starts from now.
