Extending The Orchard

Well, if you have made it this far then you probably want to know what's in store for you here. The idea is to keep anybody who is interested up to date on the progress of our extension.

The picture above was a significant moment as it was the crane that positioned the porta-cabin in our front garden. That was the moment when the dream became a reality and we felt as though it was really starting to happen.

12 Months in the planning stage, work suddenly started at the beginning of April. I say suddenly as we did not have full planning permission or building regulations approval. But the builder was keen to start on the part we had got planning for and he would contact the building inspector to inform him.

So armed with my new Pickup truck and very attractive porta-cabin on the front garden we are about to finally start.
