Week 11
11th June 2001
Monday and my Dad kindly painted the longer but lighter RSJ with Red oxide rust resistant. |
Meanwhile the wall to the rear bedrooms was starting to take shape. Building on top of the newly positioned RSJ. |
Tuesday and RSJ number 2 in place. This one was more awkward apparently as it had to be spun round because of the side the wall plate was on. |
| Rear wall was built up a bit more. |
Wednesday and the chippy is back to do some more of the roof. |
RSJ has to be lifted 4 inches to hit the slope of the roof. |
Thursday and Front wall is now being built up now that we have the line of the roof coming down. |
More roof is built onto the RSJ/Purling. |
Rear bedroom wall is now finished. |
Friday and the valleys are in place blending in with the back part of the roof. |
Saturday was spent moving everything out of our bedroom.
We are now sleeping on a mattress on the floor in the study.
Sunday and time to remove the bedroom ceiling. |
Don't just tickle it. |
That's it get yer foot on it. |
Starting to go. |
There she goes. |
All down, all that remains is to break it up and take it down the tip. |
