Week 11

11th June 2001

Monday and my Dad kindly painted the longer but lighter RSJ with Red oxide rust resistant.

Meanwhile the wall to the rear bedrooms was starting to take shape.  Building on top of the newly positioned RSJ.

Tuesday and RSJ number 2 in place.  This one was more awkward apparently as it had to be spun round because of the side the wall plate was on.
Rear wall was built up a bit more.

Wednesday and the chippy is back to do some more of the roof.

RSJ has to be lifted 4 inches to hit the slope of the roof.

Thursday and Front wall is now being built up now that we have the line of the roof coming down.

More roof is built onto the RSJ/Purling.

Rear bedroom wall is now finished.

Friday and the valleys are in place blending in with the back part of the roof.

Saturday was spent moving everything out of our bedroom.

We are now sleeping on a mattress on the floor in the study.

Sunday and time to remove the bedroom ceiling.

Don't just tickle it.

That's it get yer foot on it.

Starting to go.

There she goes.

All down, all that remains is to break it up and take it down the tip.
