Week 31

29 Oct 2001

Tuesday and studwork is built above the front bay.

Bricks were removed to rebuild the wall as it was starting to bow under the weight of the beam and roff above it.

It's also worth noting at this point that the bit of work the plumber did do was condemned today by the building inspector as the drainage pipes were to small and he shouldn't have drilled through the joists.

They are all going to have to come out.

Thursday and the round window was fitted into position.
The view from inside.  We actually have our own rainbow maker as it refracts the light through the centre crystal.
3 new beams are now required for the garage roof as it is now going to be a cut construction as trusses were going to take 6 weeks.

By Friday the Wall had been strengthened.

Timber for the roof delivered on Saturday morning.

By end of play Sunday all the underfloor heating tubes for the first floor had been laid.
