Monday and mick the Chippy finally has something to do and sets out the timbers at the rear of the roof. This gives us our first glimpse of the new roof height.
A lot of this timber has wood worm.

Monday and mick the Chippy finally has something to do and sets out the timbers at the rear of the roof. This gives us our first glimpse of the new roof height. |

Meanwhile the Roofers have now fully stripped the roof of tiles now. |

| Tuesday and the roof is fully stripped. Note the gable being supported as it would fall down if it wasn't. |

Wednesday and the roof is really taking shape now. |

Thursday and the chippy has done as much as he can at the moment. These timbers are huge and there are 3 of them bolted together. Structural Engineer sized them and he wasn't taking any risks. |

Friday and the electricity board were round to shroud the electric cable we had moved the previous night. They made a few enquires about who moved it I pleaded ignorance. |

Saturday and with the electric cable and satellite dish moved the last chimney can be removed. Now you see it |

Sunday and the caravan is moved to the rear garden ready for an evacuation when needed. |

TV ariel is re-located ready for the Monaco Grand prix on telly. |
