This website is never stagnant, new pages are added, old pages are updated,
Many of the pages have been transferred to newer pages (and many additional ones) are available on the
new website.
The format is deliberately high contrast and textually bold in order to help
those with less than perfect eyesight.
There is an
overview that will give some insight into the
reasons for the existence of this facility. The same link will allow donations to be made
to help with the upkeep.

Beekeeping and Bee Breeding
This website is dedicated to the study of bees and the education of
both beekeepers and the general public, but I have other interests as well.

I am a disabled gentleman with limited physical ability.
I live in the U.K. Midlands at:-
Hatfield Terrace, 50 St. Peter's Street
SYSTON, Leicestershire, LE7 1HJ
This website is worked on and updated almost every day and is intended
as a resource for beekeepers and the non beekeeping public. Although
specialised in places it also has general information that can be
utilised by school children for homework projects.
This website always contains much 'work in progress' and some parts of
it are untidy as a result. I apologise for such untidiness, which is
gradually being addressed, and hope that any partial information is of use.
I have stolen bits and pieces from other websites. If any of the
material is copyrighted please let me know by Email and I will
either remove it or seek permission to retain it.
Please surf freely, there are more than 1000 pages of information here,
and many links to other useful sites. I deliberately hold no
copyright and grant free use of any of my material or software (apart
from family photographs all of which are copyright, some of which are
the copyright of my sister Anji Cushman and some others are the
copyright of my father, Albert Cushman).
However I do take extreme exception to the material being misrepresented or having my name
removed. I am also totally against any change in file format to 'Word' or .pdf type files.
I spend a great deal of time rendering the information in a compact form and see it as a
disgusting waste of resources for anyone to have to read it in any other fashion than by
their browser.
I welcome constructive criticism, I am receptive to fresh ideas and I will give assistance to
others in publishing material on the WWW.
I hope you will leave this web site having gained a little more
knowledge of beekeeping, bees and their products.
