As a long-time "hairy git" I've been persuaded to have my head shaved as part of a fund-raiser for Macmillan Cancer Relief
The event took place on Friday January 26 th 2001, at lunchtime, in the foyer of Ford Credit's European HQ.
There were six "victims"; one moustache, one beard, three short-haired heads to very short, and one long-haired head to bald (me).
Along with individual sponsors, we also had Corporate support from companies that do business with Ford Credit, including; Logica, Genesys, Deloitte Consulting, Marsh, London Bridge, Princeton Consulting, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Siebel and Tech Team.
The most amazing thing, apart from the sight of my bald head [1], is the total money raised - £11,600 !!!
