We have to date over 200 names for the Makers Database. This includes: wrights, cabinetmakers, house carpenters, joiners and other timber associated workers. Our data so far has been of workers in the nineteenth century from Caithness and Sutherland. As time and energy allows us we will extend both the area and the period. We hope to have this material entered on the computer by the end of the summer and then transformed onto a searchable CD.
