HOUSE GROUPS

Graham & Sheila’s Housegroup

Aim: To deepen our understanding of God’s word and to grow closer as a group so that we can encourage one another and the fellowship.

What? Study, prayer, breaking of bread and socializing. We have studiedDiscipleship, James and Characteristics of the Children of God, using audio and video tapes.

Highlights?Our times of breaking bread together were very special. Growing to 12.

2004? We hope to grow in the area of personal ministry to those in need.

Pray for? That we mature and become more like Jesus.

Ken & Rachel’s Housegroup

We meet for Bible study, prayer and worship. We have enjoyed some good visiting speakers and have been particularly encouraged as some of us have led Bible study and discussion for the first time. We have also enjoyed meals and games together.

Andy & Helen’s Housegroup

We’re a small group, who enjoy studying and applying God’s word to our lives. We also, pray, share communion, eat together and play games. Pray that our relationships with the Lord and with one another will be really real!

Simon & Judy’s Housegroup

Aim:To have fun together, to get to know one another better, to listen to and pray for each other and to study the Bible.

What? We eat cake and drink coffee, chat, laugh and pray around the fire. We study and we worship together. We take turns to prepare the study.

Highlights? Elspeth’s cakes! Despite being a new group and the interruption of the Marriage Course we have gelled remarkably.

Pray for? A growing confidence for each in the Lord. Greater anticipation and excitement of what God can do. that the flame within each person would be fanned into a roaring furnace.
