DIVE LOG INDEX
A small collection of information about the diving expeditions of Hooch...
I originally qualified as a PADI Open Water Diver in 1999, having taken up the hobby relatively late in life (aged 40yrs) and qualified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver in March 2001. Now I hope to catch up a little with my brother who is a club diving officer for the Craven Water Rats Sub-Aqua Club.
I had always wanted to dive since being a child but just never got around to doing anything about it, time, money, family commitments and a little procrastination saw to that. But now, time is a little more available, finances are a little healthier and, it's time I did something for me, before it's too bloody late! So, without further rabbit, here's the information about my personal diving expeditions...
DIVE LOGS:
- KALKAN - TURKEY; The place where I did my original Open Water training and, a place that I visit fairly often, at least once per year for the last three years. I trained with (and continue to dive with) The Dolphin Scuba Team. In fact, I found them to be an excellent operation and, because I enjoyed my time with them so much, I returned the hospitality and expertise and I built their website! (NB. This log is presented on two separate pages)
- KUREDU - MALDIVES; Is this nation the ultimate dive destination? It certainly is for me, so far! The only problem is, now I have dived in the Maldives, it is going to be difficult to find other destinations that can compete on an equal footing. - SANTORINI - GREECE; Not a place I had ever intended diving but, a last minute quick break cheap holiday and, a little Internet research to find some dive operators, saw me get a couple of dives in whilst the boss (partner) was sun bathing!
- LOGBOOK STAMPS: Not a diving log but a page of images relating to the subject of ink stamps for diver's logbooks.
