TRAVEL - BROADENS THE MIND!
AN INTRODUCTION TO MY TRAVELS AND RESOURCES FOR PLANNING SUCCESSFUL & ENJOYABLE TRIPS & VACATIONS...
It isn't that long ago since the thought of travel to the opposite end of your own country was a major expedition for many people in fact, there are probably still many who have never ventured abroad and, have no desire to do so. Being from the (relatively) small country of Great Britain, with its tradition for exploration and history of foreign travel and conquests, it always amazes me how many British people still fall into the above category.
Changing Desires:
With the increase in peoples ability and desire to travel over recent years, coupled with improvements in transport and the availability of increased disposable income, people have started to venture further afield. A week in the Mediterranean was once a major expedition and once in a lifetime opportunity for many people however, our desires for world travel and visits to more exotic locations have increased as our society becomes more cosmopolitan and affluent.
