These records relate to Edenfield parish churchyard in Lancashire. The family name was Chattwood or Chatwood. Most of the people here went under the first of these alternatives but I have made no attempt to distinguish them here. I have also omitted in many cases information about residence before death. This is partly because this information is not available for many people and also because for many it would be an address in Edenfield. But do not assume this is always the case as there are examples of people resident in, say, Blackpool being brought home to Edenfield for burial. And in some cases a shared address would show ties between people. Also note that these are names at burial which in the case of women might be their married name rather than their maiden name.
