This is a picture of the blossom of ramsom, Allium ursinum or wild garlic. Large stands of the plant have given rise to several placenames in Britain. These include Ramsbottom in Lancashire. A good account is to be found in Richard Mabey's book "Flora Britannica".

The picture below shows a stand of them in their shaded habitat under trees. The smell from such a stand is unmistakeable
