Robert Stukins was baptised in Witcham, Cambridgeshire in 1860. His parents were William and Sarah (ms MARTIN). On the 1871 census he was living at Wardy Hill in Coveney but in 1881 he was living in Spotland, Lancashire with his parents and twin brother Thomas. Both were weavers age 20. In 1884 he married Margaret FIELDEN at Whitworth Parish Church. They had 4 children.

The first three children, and not much later their parents, were all buried in Whitworth Cemetery. Margaret FIELDEN was buried in 1906 and Robert followed 2 years later and it seems Ada must have been left an orphan and was brought up near Rawtenstall. She married an Albert INCLES in 1925 and died in 1984. They had one child - a son.

Albert INCLES was baptised in 1875 in Deene, Northamptonshire. He was a child of Morris INCLES (b circa 1837 Deene, a mailcart driver) and Ellen (b Corby). They had at least 5 other children.
