An outdoor meeting at Ferintosh Burn.
Outdoor communion meetings were an important feature of Highland religious life, both before and after the Disruption. The meeting would often be spread over several days and as many as several thousand could attend. Ferintosh Burn was a well known focal point for such meetings.
