Constitution of The Association...
Work in progress
This notice will be removed 'as', 'when' or 'if' the committee of
trustees give their approval. Until such time it is informal
information that should not be quoted or reported on by others.
The Constitution (together with the other documents) was
generated over period of more than a
year, with much discussion among the Trustees and consultation with
legal experts. It is very comprehensive, but may not be totally
exhaustive. It has been adopted by L&RBKA as of the 2002 AGM.
The constitution, operating procedures, Officer's roles and
responsibilities documents, etc., should be most, if not all the
documents needed by a Beekeeping Association and/or a registered
charity to manage their association / organisation. The documents are
available for download as a Zipped package of Microsoft
"Word format" files. They are offered in good faith as
models for other Associations to use and adapt as necessary.
L&RBKA waive their rights to the copyright of these documents.
The suite of documents has been generated by the Trustees
of L&RBKA, with special thanks to Phil Shepherd and
John Randall.
They are laid out and linked from an
Constitution Index Page and the whole package
of documents can be downloaded by 'Windows Download' from the box at
the bottom of each individual page in the set.
In all the documents available here the words
"Anycounty Beekeepers Association" are
intended to be substituted with the title of your own association.
Similarly your filenames and dates will be those that are pertinent to
your association. All the words that occur in the white panelled areas
of the pages are the words included in the downloadable files.
Editor's Note the documents as displayed in the screen
version have been modified to include dotted lines where groups of
signatures are expected. The original documents contain blank spaces
to accommodate such signatures.
