- for former pupils of the Boys School (Old Askeans) and the Girls School (Hatcham Association).

Logo borrowed from the Federation site.

It does show how the world has moved on!

Yahoo Group members are having an extensive review of the "Musical" attributes of their terms of service!

We await a list of performances for revised pages on this site!

We seem to be without a current website to attract the attention of former pupils of either of the two Schools.  (original opening notice on the single page site)!

For that reason this Site was opened 8th July 1998.
Now reached 11 years of providing information!

This is an "un-official" site designed to link up those who have passed through the Askes Schools at New Cross,
including those who were evacuated to Oxted and /or Teignmouth.

In the case of the girls  Brighton and/or Teignmouth!

To join this site  you do not need  to belong to any of the Associations or subscribe to their views.
All that is needed is the fact you went to the Schools and can offer your years of attendance and an e-mail address so that we can add you to my mailing list.
or you can add yourself to Peter's list.

For the benefit of those viewing the site,I have put in a page Askeans which has the years of schooling of those on my mailing list.It also has a sub-set of pages with more information on School activities
and the fate of its pupils.

It is possible that some of the readers are actually from our cousins north of the Thames. For reference their old boys are called the "Old Haberdashers Association"
That  School has excellent sites at:

http://www.habsboys.org.uk

http://www.habsgirls.org.uk

Past pupils refer on their C.V's to their schooling at" Haberdashers Askes",without indicating that they were educated North of the
River, which has caused some confusion in the various search engines!
