Bristol in the Post-War Period

Continue with this first gallery

Another composite view of Bristol, published in the mid-1950’s. In the top left, a view of the City Centre Gardens, the building immediately to the left of the ‘Good Luck’ now having been replaced by Yates Wine Lodge and the Colston Tower. In the top right, a view of the Avon Gorge, practically unaltered. Bottom left, a view inside of the Bristol Zoo, and to the bottom right, a view of the Cathedral. Both these bottom views look much the same today.
