INDIGESTION

Often referred to as dyspepsia, is the result of symptoms experienced from disordered digestion, typically pain or discomfort in the lower chest or abdomen after eating sometimes accompanied by nausea, vomiting or belching.

Herbal treatment can involve the use of ‘bitters’ taken before a meal diluted in water as well as herbs that are carminative and tonic.

The herbs are most often prescribed as tinctures diluted in water, herbal infusions and capsules.
