New Inspection Procedure (January 2005)
· After flag break the six with the smallest number of people present will be identified. · This number will then be the number of cubs inspected in each six.
· “Cub Points” will be awarded on the following things: [1 point for each] 1. Cub jumper, with all badges in the correct places 2. Correct trousers – plain black or blue (no denim) 3. Neat, clean scarf 4. Clean hands 5. General tidy appearance.
Cubs receiving 5 points will be asked to line up separately for the “Smartest Cub of the Week” award.
· “Six Points” will be awarded for the following things: [1 point for each] 1. Falling in when asked by the sixer 2. Staying in a straight line 3. Standing properly to attention 4. No talking during inspection 5. Clean and tidy six box
All the points collected during each term will be totalled up and at the end of the term the six with the most points will be awarded a prize. The cub who has received the “Smartest Cub of the Week” the most times will also receive a prize.
Remember that a six can gain or lose points throughout the evening for things such as behaviour, helpfulness, being the first six to do something when asked, inappropriate behaviour during Grand Howl and Flag Down.
