I am told life begins at 40 so to mark this I have decided to organise a little something to mark this milestone.

Initial plans are to base the daytime activity in Brighton Marina's bowling complex. there is also a large Cinema complex here plenty of restaurants for those that need alternative food sources. Public transport to the marina from Brighton rail & bus stations is very good. Bus 7 from brighton station day time is every 15 mins, from the bus station busses 14,701, 702, the 44 & 7 stop close to the marina as well.

For the evening in Brighton I had hoped to book the top floor of a restaurant or pub but being as it is easter this has proved too costly, hence plans to utilise the pier.

The pier being easter w/end usualy throws on extra entertainment & boasts 4 bars (one of which is a kareoke) fair rides & food outlets so there should be something for all. It has even been rumoured that flower is to partake of the kareoke(brandy supply permitting)& serenade us all !!!

I can only accommodate a very limited number of people sleeping on my floors so priority will be to those that I know & have entertained/been entertained by.

If anyone wishes to bring & use a tent , my garden will fit 3 or maybe 4, size depending.

For obvious reasons this is being planned early so i would appreciate confirmations from people attending as early as they possibly can.

I respect that people may in some cases find this hard due to work commitments ect , but any help with a number tally early will be a bonus.

CONFIRMED

From 11.30 until 12.30 I will meet people at brighton rail station, anyone arriving after that there is the number 7 bus directly outside the station that goes into the Marina fare is 80p. Anyone that maybe ariving by bus into Brighton will find that the bus station is virtualy on the seafront with the palace pier to the left.The marina is to the west and frequent busses can be got from the old steine area behind the bus station. People can be met there if nessasary, contact me if this is needed.

We will leave the rail station at 12.30 on the 7 bus to the marina, and spend the afternoon there.We will then leave there aproximatly 6.30/7 pm buy bus to to the pier (unless people want to walk 1/2 mile or so !

People then have the option to go clubbing many of the clubs are within a 5 min walk of the Pier. For the people that will be stopping at my house arangements will be made to cater for whichever they chose to do from the bar,(clubs or back to the house).Should the need arise I usualy have plenty of "refreshments" at home.
