About me... |
| a |
When I returned from hospital, something happened... Whenever I had a 'flare-up' , I would instinctively put my hands on the area of pain. My palms would literally vibrate, as they would if you were holding a vibrating object, and then strangely, the pain would go away. Even though I was only a young child, I was able to understand that the 'flare-ups' would only occur when I could not be heard. If I felt unable to express myself and got angry, then my eczema or asthma would come back. I also observed that when I did get ill, people listened to me more and I was able to say what I wanted for fear of not being told off. I was able to express my emotions without fear. Fear is a very powerful emotion, that if held in, can quite literally eat up the body's health. The 'laying on of hands' became a very natural and regular thing for me to do. I also believed I could fly, and thought that this was a natural ability to everyone. My spirit would regularly fly above my body, where I could feel no physical pain at all. After a conversation at school, I realised that I was in fact different to the others and in a short space of time, I lost these natural gifts. It wasn't until the age of 16 that the interest in these gifts returned. I quite literally delved myself into a wealth of knowledge on the subject. I was hungry to learn and over the next 16 years did every available course on the subject of spiritualism to feed my hunger. Seven years ago, my eczema returned with a vengeance. I was in a relationship with a man who wouldn’t listen to me. I could not be heard. All of my anger, fear and frustration reached boiling point in my body and manifested in the body, resulting in eczema, that could not be identified or classified by any doctor. It looked like I had been burnt in a fire. I had it very badly on my face, and would get disgusted and disagreeable looks from everyone who came into contact with me. I felt disgusting and I hated myself for looking so revolting. I decided that I wanted to expand on my healing abilities, and decided to join a Reiki healing class as a student. Each week of the class, I would pile the make up on and hide the eczema as much as I could. But it took a lot to even get me to that class. I expected everyone to be revolted by me. It is strange looking back, because some of my class mates have remained firm and faithful friends to me even to this day. Week by week my eczema got better and by the sixth week had vanished. The teacher was a highly acclaimed one. His powers were stronger than anyone else I have ever seen, even to this day. In the class I was able to talk about how I felt. I was able to deal with my emotions, and although this was in fact very painful to do, I did it, and consequently I healed. Most of my healing was done from within. The Reiki just helped me to accept my illness, deal with my emotions and encourage my body to heal itself. I realised that I have a very special body, a body that tells me when it is not happy. My body speaks to me, and when it does, I must listen to it, or else I will not get better. If I get a ‘flare up’ now, I know that there is something not quite right in my life and that I must get to the root of the matter, and change it. When I perform Reiki healing, it is always necessary to work to put the Chakkra’s back into balance with the body. ‘Chakkra' is a word from Sanskrit meaning ‘wheel’. The chakkra’s are each a spinning vortex of energy found in specific locations within the body’s structure. The chakkra’s get their energy from outside forces that are absorbed into the aura and distributed according to the need and purposeful balancing of each chakkra point. For optimum health the Chakkra system needs to be balanced and aligned. If any one of the chakkra points are blocked this can lead to physical and mental illness. A chakkra point can get blocked, be underactive or overactive, according to our physical, mental or spiritual health. If for instance we continue to eat a food that we are allergic too, this will lower the vibrational energy in the chakkra and lead to a blockage, or if we are depressed or run down this too will alter the flow of energy into the chakkra’s, leading eventually to a blockage. The blockage may be such that we are unable to draw energy from the aura into the chakkra system. So, in order to correct this imbalance, we need to stimulate the chakkra’s back into action. This can be done with vibrational remedies such as hands on healing, crystals, vibrational medicines, herbs, flower essences, and colour. Reiki is a combination of Christian and tantric Buddhism. The chakkra’s are literally blasted open and healing powers become second nature. Children instinctively know about the energy at work in and around them, and refer to it quite naturally. If they are tired they will tell us that they haven’t got any energy and need to rest. There are many great texts which refer to the most magical things that can happen when you master the chi force or energy. The concept of the auric field and the chakkra’s, has it’s roots within the Hindu religion which stems from India. There are many ancient pictures that show people and their relationship to the aura, such as the Mayan priests, who wore coloured, plumed headresses. There are stories about the Buddha, and other religious leaders, and the hundreds of loyal followers they attracted. The theory is that the religious leader had an aura that extended for several miles, meaning that people from far afield were drawn towards these fabulous emanations, and flocked together just to be in the energy field of the person they worship. When we look at pictures of god and of angels, we will see a bright halo surrounding their heads. This, of course is the purified aura of a holy person. The aura is an enormous energy field which emanates far beyond the physical body, and interacts with everything around it. It receives it’s energy, not only from the absorption of the elements of nature, but with the energy fields of heaven too. The aura is made up of several layers which deal with our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy. Many of you, I’m sure are aware can actually have your aura photographed by way of the advancement of Kirlian photography. The aura can tell a lot about a person’s state of health. For instance if the aura is a muddy red, this will mean that their is a lot of anger within the recipient that has not been expressed, and if the aura is blue, this can mean that the person is cool and calm, and has very strong healing abilities, but on a negative note, can mean that the person is ‘feeling blue’, and needs to be less introverted, as this could lead to depression. As a holistic practitioner, it is my job to work with certain vibrational energies needed to get the aura back into a healthy state. I use a variety of different vibrational elixirs ranging from healing, bach flower remedies, music and sound, aromatherapy oils and crystals. These are all natural ways to get the aura back into balance, although if the patient sees it in their mind to continue to self abuse themselves, then I can only help up to a certain point. This is the patients free will. Colour can help provide the right vibration to an area that is sick. When a part of the body becomes sick, colour can help to unblock the chakkra involved in the illness. It is beneficial to wear the colour you need close to the area that needs to be healed. It is only a personal opinion, but I do not feel that there is much by way of treatment, that can be offered to a domesticated animal that has emotional or behavioural problems. Let’s look at illness in general. Illness is something that the body has the ability to produce on many levels. But, with illness there can be great growth, whether you deem it to be a negative or a positive experience. Illness can be caused by many factors: diet environment, hereditary, stress or emotional blockages. With a hereditary illness you have probably had it drummed into you, that with a family history of heart attacks, you will more than likely suffer from a heart attack, because statistics tell you so, and so, you have created your own belief system deep within your subconscious. Your subconscious has been programmed to believe that you will have a problem with your heart, and sets about creating the illness and then makes it manifest into the real thing. Sometimes an illness is an indicator that something is not right in our lives. We must take a step back and find out what this is. It may be the bodies way of telling you to slow down, or it may be telling you that you are following the wrong path in life. With illness, you must always try to do what makes you happy. Live each day as if it were your last. Value life. Appreciate what you have. Illness can make you re-evaluate you life. For instance: it may make you realize what is really important to you, which may be to see more of your family, or to spend more time relaxing, or it may be telling you that it is time to look at your diet. Never forget that your body speaks to you, and illness is the way that it does this. If you hate your illness, you will not be helping yourself. So much of your energy will be going into the emotion of hating the illness, that none will be left to create healing within the body. You must accept what you have, and see it as a physical challenge, from which you can learn and grow. The subconscious has a very powerful affect on the body. For instance: A lady who is quite literally smoking herself to death and cannot stop. Buried deep in her subconscious may be a belief that this woman actually wants to die, as she is not enjoying her life, or living life to it’s full. So the smoking is providing the subconscious with a way to cut her life short. Remember the subconscious hears everything you say and will hold on to those things and act on them. Here are some of the things that we regularly say time and time again, and the illness that can effect the people who say them. I can’t stand it- this may affect the legs You're getting right up my nose- nose and sinuses I can’t handle it- hands, arthritis Put your back into it- back I need to get it off my chest- asthma Itching to do something-eczema It broke my heart- heart Many illnesses can be present due to an emotion. For instance, kidney problems can be manifested by stored anger or fear. Think about when you are at an interview and are nervous or frightened. You often feel a desperate urge to go to the toilet. For healing to take place, you need to try to see your illness as a positive experience. I believe that everything in life is happening exactly according to plan. You have chosen to experience and learn from your illness. You must accept your illness and forgive yourself and others for their part in it. Learn to love yourself and those around you. Give and you will get back. My illness was very beneficial to me. It helped me to understand what illness can do to the body, helped me to relate to others, and consequently encouraged me to work as a healer so that I could help others and encourage them to help themselves. Your body is a natural healer. Think of how a broken bone is repaired naturally by the body. Think of all the different things that take place in the body during digestion. It really is a fabulous and miraculous system. It is up to you to empower your ability to heal. There may be a part of you that actually wants to be sick. You must go deep to the core of the illness and find out what your body needs to help it. Miracles happen every day. You can start by believing this, working on positive affirmations everyday and acceptance of who you are. Find out everything there is to know about your illness. Get to know your body. Find out about the organs and there specific functions. Find out what foods, vitamins and minerals help your illness, and incorporate them regularly into your diet. Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of natural pure water, to keep the colon cleansed. Take a good look at yourself, and decide what suits you best. In a moment we are going to do a healing meditation which will empower your body’s ability to heal, balance your body, because with illness your body is usually out of balance, and stimulate your immune system. Any questions? The brain is the control centre of the nervous system and send out millions of messages to every cell, organ and nerve throughout your body each and every day. The brain controls our thought patterns. You will have on average 60 thousand thoughts a day, and it is for this reason, that your thoughts need to be as positive as they can be. Imagine having 60 thousand negative thoughts every day, no wonder you get sick. The body listens to everything we say, and if all of these thoughts we have are negative, the body will believe what it hears and create a situation in the body that is appropriate to the thought pattern. So, it is very important to re-programme the mind to flow with positive thoughts. We can do this with affirmations. When you wake up in the morning start by telling yourself, that today is going to be a wonderful day for you and that you are going to enjoy it. If negative thoughts creep in, just change them to a positive one. For instance if a thought pops into your head saying ‘I feel sick and fed-up’, change it immediately and say ‘I feel well and am very happy’. With psychosomatic illnesses we have to look at what the subconscious is trying to tell us and in order to release the illness, we need to act on the message. If you can identify with any of the questions above and have a problem in one of the areas mentioned, you may need to address the problem with a new pattern of thinking and with fresh thoughts and ideas. I always remember a lady called Sharon who came to me with persistent problems with her liver. She was a very angry and resentful woman, and felt like she had been a victim throughout her life. For many weeks, she would tell me that the healing was making her worse. This of course, is quite impossible, as although as a healer, I can activate the healing process within the body, ultimately it is you who heals yourself. If you do not want to be healed, then nothing will work. I told Sharan that if she wanted to get better, then she would have to change her thought process. The first few times that healing is administered, causes the body to bring forward any emotional issues to be dealt with, and this was what was happening to Sharan. Suppressed emotions were coming to a head, but she did not want to deal with them, instead she wanted to bury them deep within the body, which in her case was in the liver area. I am sure that you have heard of a term used by therapists called the ‘healing crisis’. This is where anything that is ‘stale’ in the body is eliminated quickly as a result of a healing treatment, and so it is possible that after a session, you feel very unwell. This is due to the body trying to purify and cleanse, so that it can get back to a state of health. My attitude is that it is better out than in, and all that is needed is a little perseverance My book is just being finished and will then be ready for release probably by August 00. It will be called ‘The diary of a Clairvoyant/Healer’, and will be a book crammed full with true life stories. At the beginning of the book will be a portfolio of at least 10 full time healers and friends of mine. The book will follow their progress as well as mine and will give invaluable advice and knowledge on how to perform healing, deal with illness and understand why ultimately, you have been put on the earth and will help you to discover your ‘life purpose’. I am currently looking for a publisher. |
