What is Reiki?

a Reiki is a healing art which involves the ‘laying on of hands’.
Rei means universal and ki means
life force, so reiki can be described as an energy exchange which takes place between a reiki
practitioner and his/her patients.

In order to
perform reiki one has to receive many ancient attunements which will open the bodies energy system and purify it. Once a person has received the necessary attunements, they will be capable of performing reiki for the rest of their lives and one of the unique qualites of reiki is that the practitioner is able to channel reiki healing even if they were unconscious.

A reiki practitioner will go through many stages of development, these being reiki 1,11 and 111, which will propel them into another dimension and give them the ability to perform absent healing too.

Reiki dates back thousands of years and is found in ancient texts and scriptures. many of the disciplines were lost until at the end of the 19th century, they were rediscovered by a japanese scholar and monk called Dr Usui. Dr Usui named his discovery reiki. Reiki heightens the senses and enables a practitioner to be able to scan a body and sense possible problem areas or blockages.

With the use of the reiki power, a practitioner is then able to work to re-balance the area and create a necessary environment for the body to heal itself.

Instinctively, if a child hurts themselves, we automatically ‘rub it better’, and an animal will lick it’s wound. Animals except reiki naturally and actually look forward to receiving it. Animals do not get caught up in human judgements such as sceptisism and doubt which is why reiki healing on animals is so tremendously powerful.

Everything in life has an energy system and anyone receiving reiki is receiving a boost to that energy system. The best way to learn about reiki, is of course to experience it yourself.
