HUGH McNEILLIE



Born in Ayrshire Hugh moved away to South Africa in the early 60's.

Returned to his native Ayrshire in 1994 and settled in Ayr where took over a guest house which he built into a very successful business over the next six years.

His album 'Home is the Singer' was produced as a result of him getting back into the entertainment business where he has delighted audiences all over Scotland as well as taking his one man Burns extraviganza to America.

His television and theatre days in South Africa have helped Hugh back into the entertainment business with BBC Broadcasts and summer seasons in Edinburgh.

He's a traditional Scottish tenor with a knowledge and love of the National Bard, Robert Burns.

HUGH'S ALBUM 'HOME IS THE SINGER' has a varied selection of songs including Loch Lomond, The Hiking Song, Land of the Eagle, Lass o' Ballochmyle and a spoken version of 'Holy Willie's Prayer' as well as many, many more.
