02/06/2009 River Otter 10deg C + Brown Trout
Fish moving but not taking. Very clear and hot day. One brownie on dry fly (Deer hair dun) One other lost when tippet broke on take.

12/06/2009 River Creedy Brown Trout
Took a reasonable number of Brownies. 7 x 8”/1 x 4.5”/1 x 5.5”/1x 6.5”. Lost just as many! All fish taken on, dry deer hair dun, Orange sparkle nymph goldhead, Goldhead hares ear. River had slight colour but very low. Nice sunny day, warm, but cool under trees!

15/06/2009 River Taw Brown Trout
Took three trout, 10.5” / 7.5”/ 8” all taken on weighted, goldhead PTN. Weather very wet with heavy rain almost all the time. River was very clear and low!

16/06/2009 River Culm Chub/Dace
Ledgered cheese with a link ledger to 4lb line /size 10 hook. Took 1 chub approx 11inch. Switched to large slug on hook & had several pulls before slug got away. Changed swims and lost several better chub on cheese. Switched to float fshing. 13ft rod with centrepin reel (Okuma). Trotted with stick float 2BB loading and 2lb bottom with size 16 hook. Fed sweetcorn and pepper and fished same on hook. Took continual stream of chub and dace. Best fish a Dace of around 14oz.
