24 Test Tube array
The HCST reaction block has an array of 24 test tubes, the contents of each of which can be stirred continuously in order to ensure homogeneity of the reagents. As some reactions are best carried out at an elevated temperature the equipment can measure the temperature and rapidly heat each test tube and its contents to a specified upper limit. For more volatile reactions that are best carried out at below room temperature the HCST reaction block can chill the test tube array to a pre- set limit and thereby control the speed of the reaction. Requires chilled water supply for cooling applications.

· Designed for use with robotic syringe dispencing (5ml dispensed fluid volume)
· Programmable stirring, heating, cooling and reflux
· Fast heating up to 150C

· Internally controlled electromagnetic stirrer with speed and ‘capture’ options
· Up to 10 arrays on a standard robot bed under PC control
· Test tubes not enclosed along the full length allowing for visual monitoring of reactions and a reflux zone
