DIVERSE has worked on a wide variety of scanner systems. Our expertise extends across the two generic types: scanning in an image and scanning out a projection.

All scanners are extremely demanding in design, with such problems as off-axis scanning, stray light, lens performance and system resolution being key issues.

Scanner design extends to the electronic and software control of the scanning elements. As most scanners require high dynamic performance, this in turn demands that the control system is designed using the most modern techniques.

Many projection scanners use lasers. This type of scanner can exhibit considerable eye dangers in its operation as the beam can potentially be directed over a wide arc. Diverse is able to provide expert assistance in hazard assessment to the latest laser safety standards.
