Haggis 2001 Report

This section contains a report and pictures from the se7ens list tour to Scotland in 2001: The Haggis Hunt. This was a long weekend of touring over the empty twisties of Scotland. It was such a success that we're going to do it next year as well!

This report is under construction - I'll expand the notes into a report soon(ish) :)

The tour lasted for 5 days and this report is organised by day:

  • Day 1 - Getting oop north
  • Day 2 - Let the hunt commence
  • Day 3 - Come hither yee haggis
  • Day 4 - In pursuit of the beastie
  • Day 5 - Where art thou humble haggis

Day 1 - Thursday 10th May 2001 - Getting oop north

Day 5 - Monday 14th May 2001 - Where are thou humble haggis

For the hammering the cars got they all performed pretty well. The failures I can think of were: Wheel bearings, starters, clutch hydraulics, speedo drive

I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Jonathan and Helen for putting together a great Tour. It was so good that we've demanded that theydo another :)

Also thanks to those whose pictures I've stolen :) Mainly Darren's but a few others. I've bought my own digital camera for Euro2001!
