The lovely Green man carvings on the Norman font are on the west side and is believed to date from c 1120 - 70. It has similarities to the fonts at Fincham and Sculthorpe. There are also unusual carvings to the other sides of the font. Grateful thanks to Chris Harrison for photos and information. |
