wpe43.jpg (17588 bytes) St. Martin's Church, once a church in ruins it was lovingly restored thanks to Sir Alfred Jodrell. The work was a careful reconstruction of the earlier 13th c building.

 

Whilst visiting St. Martin's Church why not pay a visit to the interesting Glandford Shell Museum with its collection of shells from all parts of the world, as well as many other items including fossils, a piece of the flagship Royal George sunk in 1782, and even a pair of cockleshell figures donated by Sir Alec and Lady Guinness in 2000.
