This Green Man corbel can be found on the south side of the nave. He is set lower than the other corbels. Notice his nose seems to form the trunk of a tree that is bearing fruit or is that his hair?

I have included this figure from the north wall and although animal in appearance (a lion?) he does seem to have a main of foliage. With his chin resting on his 'hand' looks quite fed up so I took pity on him!

St. Mary Pinchbeck.
