This was a 16-bit Windows product, written in Delphi 1 and Visual C++ 1.52. Since the end of 1996, the system has been undergoing a complete rewrite, using a object-oriented methodology. The system has been split into three tiers, using Delphi 3 for the front-end, Visual C++ 5 for the business layer and an Access database for storage. I have been involved with the Delphi and C++ aspects of the code. I have also been using the Select Enterprise tool for analysis and design.
