Here are some useful forms for you:

Cancellation by Tutors - Please give advance notice to the YAMM coordinator and also inform your students. If a tutor has to cancel at short notice on a Saturday the students’ families will be contacted. Very occasionally we may be able to cover the lesson; otherwise it will be cancelled and the cost of the lesson will be refunded.

If a tutor cannot be available on a Saturday morning, they may choose to rearrange their usual lessons for another time or day.  There is no obligation for tutors to do this, and the arrangement should be made directly with the family.  It is important to keep the YAMM coordinator notified of these arrangements as in this case the tutor will continue to be paid as if they had taught at YAMM as usual. (This does not include any additional private lessons given to students, over and above the usual YAMM timetable.  The fees for these lessons will be arranged directly with the tutor, and are likely to be more than charged by YAMM.)

Coffee time is at 11.00, in the reprographics room.  Please just go along and help yourself to either tea or coffee and biscuits.  Please put your tea bags in the yellow plastic container we provide, and not in the paper recycling box.

CRB checks: All teachers are required to have a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.  The Child Protection Liaison committee member will coordinate this with you.

Tidiness: Remember that a classroom is a teacher’s personal space. Please try to leave it exactly as you found it. Don’t write on the white boards, or use any of the equipment or books (with the exception of chairs, tables and pianos).
