Established in 1897 murphys is lived in and run by James Murphy and his family. A great family pub, and somewhere you could safely take your in-laws without an onslaught of abuse being directed at you.

Murphy's has all the features you'd expect from a modern pub including toilets with locking doors and a pool table.

The weekend starts on Thursday night with a 'seisun' led by the legendary Packie Kealey and the rest of the weekend is filled by local bands, usually of a very high standard.

This bar is probably the tourists favourite.
