	The ruins of the old Morfa Dyfi Tavern, called Maenan Cottage in the Tithe Map, where ships' crews reportedly whiled away the hours waiting for the tide to turn.
					Part way between Derwenlas and Glandyfi is the developing Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve, established by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. In May 2009, they opened the Dyfi Osprey Project.
