road, which I'm told had the name of Ffynnon Pencae, and which was uncovered
when the land next to it was cleared for redevelopment in 2006.

Minutes of the Sanitary Authority for the Rural District of the Aberystwyth Union, 17 August 1885: Taliesin Water Supply, Pencae Well. The Inspector having reported that the supply from this well had failed. It was unanimously resolved that the attention of the inhabitants should be called thereto by him with a view to them remedying the defect themselves and that if they neglected to do so that the Inspector again report same to the Committee.

|Minutes of the Sanitary Authority for the Rural District of the Aberystwyth Union, 4 January 1881: A deputation from the village of Taliesin having attended the meeting requesting the sanction of the Sanitary Authority to their obtaining a supply of water for the use of the inhabitants of the village under the direction of the Sanitary Authority the cost of obtaining such a supply of water to be defrayed by the ratepayers of the village and after considerable discussion it was resolved that the Inspector get samples of the water from the well known as "Ffynnon Harris" analysed by the County Analyst.|
