Elite Ballooning specialise in pilot training and operating hot air balloons for corporate clients.
The business is owned and run by Bob Craik.
Bob trained with the British School of Ballooning
and gained his Private Pilot's Licence (Balloons and Airships) in 1991. After extensive flying in UK
and Europe he got his Commercial Pilot's Licence in 1994 and was appointed as a BBAC Instructor in 1995.
Rather than following the usual route of setting up a passenger rides business, Bob decided to specialise
in pilot training and operating advertising balloons.

Highlights in Bob’s ballooning career include flying in the Alps, landing a balloon on the Isle of
Wight, flying over Birmingham City Centre on Christmas day and a flight over London, crossing directly
above St Paul’s Cathedral.
Bob has flown from many major balloon festivals and large outdoor events.
He considers the buzz he gets from hearing a crowd cheer as he launches from a show arena as one of the
biggest thrills in ballooning.
