The "GRACE"ful Approach To Intent

Use these questions to plan realistic and achievable goals.

G = Goal
What do you want?
What do you really want?
What do you want even more than that?
And more than that?

Why do you "really" want this?
What is your intent in achieving this goal?
How will this make your life "better"?
What do you deserve to have?
What do you deserve to achieve?
What will bring a sense of gratitude?

R = Reality
What is realistic about this goal?
Where do you need resilience?
Where will you require flexibility in your approach?
In your actions?
In your tasks?
If any part of this goal becomes unrealistic, what do you intend to do to put it back on course?
What is reasonable about your goal?
How does this goal support your most important life values?
How does this goal violate your most important life values?
How will you need to compromise or alter your life values in order for this goal to represent your intentions?

A = Acknowledgment
How will you know when you achieve small steps along the way to your goal?
What system will you use to acknowledge your successes?
How will you know if you are doing the right things?
The wrong things?
What's your measure, your benchmark for success?
What will you "settle" for?
Why?
What will you not "settle" for?
Why not?
What will you "tolerate"?
Why?
What will you not "tolerate"?
Why not?

C = Creative Competence
Where will you need to be strong?
How will you need to stay empowered?
What resources will you need that you don't currently have?
What is currently working? What is not working?
How will you know if you are on course?
How will you know when you are off course?
What will you do to correct your direction?
What's your measure for innovation?
For creativity?
Where will you take risks?
What type of risks are you willing to take?
What will you be willing to compromise to achieve your intent?

E = Expectation
What do you deserve to have happen?
What is your desired end-result?
What will you be satisfied with? What will be enough?
What will not be enough?
How will you know if you have succeeded?
Reached your goal?
What will this look like?
