Elmbridge Model Club is one of the largest model clubs in the UK, with over 180 members.
It is based in Surrey and owns two plots of land, a large site at Ripley which is currently
used for radio controlled aircraft and a lake near Thorpe for radio controlled boats.
EMC also has access to Coley Hill, which is a slope soaring site near Reigate and 2 control
lines circles at Fairmile. The site at Thorpe is the main site, which we are hoping to develop
for RC cars and a full international course for boats as well.

We currently meet at the Ripley Cricket Club every first and third Wednesday evening of the Month
for a general club meeting. These include Bring-and-Buys and static scale competitions.
This is a particularly good place to bring new models to get checked out or show off. This can save
a lot of time travelling to and from the site trying to get the model air-worthy/water-worthy/land-worthy.
