Roger and his team, who have changed their name to I Thought ... has bowled in the Major league for as long as I can remember.
Roger up until this season used to bowl in the SUSSEX PREMIER SCRATCH DOUBLES league and I believe the Essentials League which was originally a league for essential public services.
Roger has also been a member of the PREDATORS team for a number of years
Ray and his team, after a couple of changes in recent years have reverted back to their original team name of Saints they are also long time members of the Major league.
Ray also bowls in the SUSSEX PREMIER SCRATCH DOUBLES league.
Other hobbies, Ray is known to like freshwater fishing.
Steve is another long time member of the Major League and has held the position of treasurer for most of that time. Steve also bowls in the SUSSEX PREMIER SCRATCH DOUBLES league as well as travelling around the country with the PREDATORS bowling team competing in various tournaments at weekends, and when he's not doing that, he can be found bowling with the W.T.B.C. TRAVELLERS . Steve is Secretary of the SUSSEX AREA of the B.T.B.A. and manager of the county ladies team, and when other commitments permitting, likes to pursue his hobby of Fishing, either freshwater or sea if the chance arises he will be there.
I took over as secretary from one of the original founding members of the league, Mr.Tom Trimmer, some 12 to 15 years ago. Other leagues, I have cut down my commitments and only bowl in the BUSINESS HOUSE league and occasionally sub in the EXECUTIVE league. For a number years I was Player/Manager of the W.T.B.C. TRAVELLERS in a now defunct Sunday travelling league. I am a B.T.B.A. qualified Phase 3 Coach and when I was not bowling myself, used to enjoy teaching youngsters to bowl and was for many years involved with the local YBC's. Unfortunately due to changes in employment, I no longer have saturdays free and am unable to continue with that rewarding pastime.
