CN458 and CN459 Crossovers

High quality two way passive dividing networks with a 12dB/octave slope between low and high frequency systems. Two versions are available, both are rated at 15 ohms and feature 100 w power handling. A 5 step High Frequency attenuator is provided for accurate matching. Weight 3.7kg. Dimensions: 80 x 278 x 180 mm (H x W x D).

These crossovers use high grade capacitors and air cored inductors.
Although originally designed for use with 15 Ohm drivers drivers, the dividing networks can tolerate mismatching to 8 Ohms with a slightly higher insertion loss depending on the amplifier and loudspeakers used. A more accurate method of matching to 8 Ohms is to use two networks with their input in parallel and their HF and LF channels matched to 15 Ohms.

Thanks to Guy for providing me with a sketch of his unit.
Please note that some of these crossovers appear to use 20uF (2 x 10uF caps) instead of the 32uF shown below (2 x 16uF) in the High frequency section (I.e. The caps closest to input 1).
