S5

The S5 is an extra sensitive unit aimed at the specialist domestic market. Developed from the S3, the S5 incorporates a sophisticated acoustical damping system and an anodised aluminium dome. As a result of these improvements, the S5 produces an extremely smooth frequency response together with low distortion.

It uses a 7 inch ferrite magnet, featuring a 3 inch aluminium voice coil and a strong but ultra lightweight diaphragm (with a maximum excursion of 1000th of an inch).
