Stepney Causeway

Stepney Causeway runs from Commercial Road to Cable Street. To the east is Pitsea Street and to the west Bower Street. 

The first Dr Barnado home for destitute children (his first Childrens' Home) was opened at 18 Stepney Causeway in December 1870 under the patronage of Lord Shaftesbury.
