Negretti & Zambra

Henry Negretti (1817-1879) was an Italian-English optician born at Como. He arrived in London in 1829. He and Joseph Warren Zambra (d. 1877) were in partnership from 1850 and sold a variety of scientific instruments. The company conducted business at different locations in London (including Stepney), beginning in 1850 and continuing to the end of the century.
