An Unusual Event

On 4 August 1641 the following baptism and affirmation was made.

'Gabrielle, son of Aristis, the wife of Thomas Preston, of Ratcliffe Highway, mariner, whom she affirmeth to be begotten by her said husband who is yet reported to have been forth at sea ever since midsummer AD 1640, 4 days (old)'.

If true it could qualify as a world record.
