Droitwich - Health CentreThe William's practice in Droitwich Health Centre is a six partner semi-rural and small town practice with a patient population of 11,000. Ninety per cent of patients live in Droitwich. The patient demographics include a large elderly population of deceptively high deprivation factor. There are four male and two female partners (and Registrar) who have a wide range of interests. This includes gastroenterology, chest medicine, complementary medicine and GP education. It is a busy, friendly practice where all members of staff work well as a team. There is good communication between the partners, other members of staff and the local practices. The surgery is extensively computerised and has recently changed to a windows based computer system (ITS). We close the surgery one afternoon a month for practice training. There is an ethos of self-directed learning; working together and fair share Out Of Hours If you would like to have an individual, well-supported Registrar year with good wide-ranging experience, then come to Droitwich!
