Upton-upon-Severn PracticeThis is an ideal practice. Delightful rural setting with all the advantages of operating from purpose-built premises, for instance, registrar has own room and there is on-site physiotherapy, social workers, dispensary and various visiting consultant sessions. Five full time partners (male and female) and a (female) retainer. It is a busy practice offering a full range of medical experience looking after 10,000 patients. This practice received 2 beacon awards, one for its involvement with adolescent health and one for its in-house attached social worker arrangement. Very well supported by a primary care team with whom there are monthly meetings to exchange views and have multi-disciplinary education. This encourages a good team spirit and close co-operation. On-call approximately once a week but presently looking into a county-wide or more local out-of-hours arrangement. In general it is a very welcoming practice with good support.
