Fabulous!!! I haven't been so on the edge of my seat since Italy played with 9 men in that game in 94! "Keep it in the corner!" Not sure what I'm trying to say there - but that was amazing stuff!! No good all the experts saying that Portugal were nervy at the start - so were the USA. And it's no good citing Portugal as "not playing well" - give some credit where credit's due! The USA were great!!

Well, I don't really know what to say - am staggered!! Poor Agoos! What if he'd blown it in his first WC game for the US in 12 years (injuries keeping him out before). I was impressed with McBride and Beasley and the number 22. Portugal *were* somewhat disappointing, but you can't go on names - got to have some spirit and the USA showed that in abundance

What a shock! Well done the USA - enjoy it!!

*Even* Portugal will beat Poland! :)
