Cameroon 0 Germany 2

Kahn and Song get close

I was VERY disappointed in the Cameroonians. I was hoping I'd be watching the Germans go out!! In the first half, they had a few chances, but blew them. Then after Ramelow was sent off for his second yellow, on 40 minutes, they really should've made their numerical advantage pay - but they chose instead to go mental and chop people down at every opportunity (check out the bookings, on both sides - a new record!) This made the game easy for Germany and they progress, as group winners and nobody would be wise to bet against them.

OH!! I just noticed, having pasted the teams in, that Suffo was sent off for Cameroon in the 2nd half! I hadn't realised that!!! I never spent very long watching the other game - where was I? Asleep???
