Shamefully, I slept longer than I should've; thus missed the two "proper" goals, leaving me with just the golden one to endure. I hate golden goals; they are just so cruel. It's like a firing squad, somehow. "Bang, you're dead". Oh well - although I don't go much on Senegal, perhaps it's good for the competition that they've gone through, as they add something "different". Sweden are part of the "big guy" brigade, much as England, Germany, Belgium etc. They were the best of the big guy brigade though and I thought they played well and gave very good accounts of themselves. I still love the alternative to big guy stuff best. Spain, Korea, Japan, Italy. That Portugal, Argentina (and even) France have had early marching orders, has not been good from the point of view of the spectator and probably is what is wrong (in my opinion) with this tournament. I just like to watch nice football! Senegal, on the other hand, don't play pretty and don't play big. They're something completely different..
*sigh* Yet again, the sticker album was sadly wrong with its prediction.
